What I have for you is four patches that I use to perform some of the
covers that my band does. The first patch is a "morphing patch" that starts
out with slight distortion and no delay and morphs to a good lead
distortion with lots of delay. I use this patch to perform the Thin Lizzy
song "Still in Love With You", the live version.

The next two patches are my SRV patches that I use to perform Tightrope.
Please keep in mind that I use a Lone Star Strat with Texas Special pickups
(the same ones that are on the Fender SRV Strat) and I play a TransFex head
through a Marshall 1960B stereo 4x12 cabinet. This cabinet is very bright
sounding so you may have to tweak the tone to compensate. If you are using
a non-Strat style guitar....good luck. The Strat sound is a big part of
Stevie's sound. Also note that both of these patches use the splitter to
emulate the setup that he used. SRV played through TWO amps. This is how he
got the clean yet distorted sound. My patches attempts to do the same.

The last patch is my Cold Shot patch which has a good Leslie speaker effect.

My global settings are Lo +5, Mi -3, Hi -5.


I forgot to mention something about modifying split patches. 

The two Tightrope patches that use the splitter may be alittle tricky to
set the level correctly for your own setup. As I have used the splitter to
create two different sounds BOTH of them will need to be adjusted if you
want to change the level setting. If you adjust the tube Pr output you will
also need to adjust the DS Ps setting to keep the blended sound mixed
properly. Experiment and have fun!
